This notice explains what personal information auson.ie collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

Auson Ireland (auson.ie) is operated by Angels Garage Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company no. 823268), registered office N5 Garage, Horsepark, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, F23 NX50, Ireland. What we collect and why

  • Enquiries: when you use a form on this site, or email or phone us, we receive your name, contact details, business details and whatever you tell us — to answer you and follow up on your enquiry.
  • Trade and distributor applications: your business name, contact details, location, type of business and the other details asked for on the form — to assess your application and set up a trade account if it is approved.
  • Orders: products are sold through our shop at mercasol.ie, which has its own privacy notice.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your details for marketing. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.

Who else handles it

Form submissions and emails are stored on our website host and in our Google Workspace email. Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the font files.

How long we keep it

Records needed for tax and accounting are kept for the periods required by Irish law (generally 6 years). Enquiries and applications that do not lead to business are kept only as long as useful.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Email info@auson.ie. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
